This standalone 10-episode anime chronicles a raw story of redemption and revenge through the eyes of four entirely new characters.
The trailer reveals the crew: Weak Kingsley, a burly, bearded veteran past his prime; D, a scarred Snake Nation netrunner out for blood; Roman Carax, a young camcorder-wielding cinephile capturing the city’s dark legends; and Talia Yang, a pink-haired corporate escapee obsessed with combat chrome. Directed by Kai Ikarashi with a score by Tsuneo Imahori and a fierce theme track by Rico Nasty, the series poses a stark question: When the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?
