Tom Jones returned to Hong Kong to play HKCEC Hall 5BC last night (March 24). He played a string of classic favourites and new songs from his latest album 24 Hours. Kicking off the show with "Sugar Daddy" and "Give A Little Love", the singer who soon turns 70 in June is awesome in vocal performance. He then lead the 10-man band into the James Bond theme song "Thunderball". Before the set, he played "Mama Told Me Not To Come", a cover song which he collaborated with Stereophonics back in 2000.
Taking a break from full band set, he and part of the band performed three country songs - "He'll Have To Go", "Green Green Grass Of Home" and "Save The Last Dance For Me". Then the full band returned from some electronic actions, starting with "What's New Pussycat?" and ended the main set with "Sexbomb" and "It's Not Unusual". After a short encore break, the band returned for two-song encore set - "Kiss" and "Take Me Back To The Party".
